Along side the National IGF, taking place 18th to 19th July 2019, we are pleased to announce that the 11th edition of the West Africa Internet Governance Forum (WAIGF) will follow at the Kairaba Beach Hotel in Kololi, The Gambia 25th to 26th July. This is a high level delegation with over 400 participants from the sub-region and beyond: ECOWAS, African Union, UN IGF, World Bank, Facebook, ICANN, Internet Society – with local stakeholders; Government, Private Sector, Civil Society among other activists, to openly discuss Public Policy issues regarding Governance of the Internet.
The forum will be preceded by the West Africa School on Internet Governance workshop from July 22 to 24, 2019 and the Youth IGF activities. Internet Society is happy being a partner and Sponsor of this great Multistakeholder event.
