ISOC Gambia held our first Youth IGF event this year in partnership with local civil society organizations and the Gambia IGF secretariat. This gathering was mainly about building awareness, sparking conversations, and strengthening youth participation in shaping our digital future. ISOC Gambia executives used the opportunity to present the chapter’s activity plan and also Internet Society’s action plans and called on the community’s active participation. present at the event were invitees from our local stakeholders, MAG member representative, and member of parliament, Honorable Alhajie Mbowe, Gambia IGF chairperson, University of the Gambia lecturers, and student participants.
