We got the chance to explain how vital sign test can be conducted using our four main sensors (SPO2 Pulse ,Temperature , Body Scale and Body pressure) connected device.
The aim of the project is to make vital sign test easily conducted , recorded and stored into the database.
To make the work of nurses easier and fast.

We also conducted some sample patient live test and it’s data was represented in our eHealth Management System Application.

Dr Jagne was greatly inspired by this project and congratulate the team for an incredible work. They have been wishing to have such technologies at hand as it’s makes their work easier to have patient data directly automated.

The Chapter Project Team looks forward expanding this project with the clinic to integrate it with their Systems.

The way forward is to installed the ehealth IoT solution at Afrimed. As a pilot & research project plans are to conduct a survey in fews months time to see ways it has better improved patient care and how its working for the nurses in the clinic.

Gambia National Internet Governance Forum (GMIGF2018) http://isoc.gm/2018/07/04/gambia-national-internet-governance-forum-gmigf2018/ http://isoc.gm/2018/07/04/gambia-national-internet-governance-forum-gmigf2018/#respond Wed, 04 Jul 2018 17:10:14 +0000 http://isoc.gm/?p=511 Gambia National Internet Governance Forum (GMIGF2018): The Gambia is to hold its 2018 National Internet Governance Forum (GMIGF2018) on the 4th and the 5th of July 2018 in Serrekunda, The Gambia with the theme “Internet Governance in The New Gambia”.

The Internet Governance Forum serves to bring people together from various stakeholder groups as equals, in discussions on public policy issues related to the Internet. The Forum is being organized to represent all key stakeholders in the Gambia through a National Steering Committee coordinated by the Ministry of Information and Communication Infrastructure (MOICI).

The Forum was initiated in late 2009, after the start of the West African Internet Governance forum. Since 2010 the Gambia has hosted three National Internet Governance forums, the last being in 2012. Due to the restrictive nature of the former regime, the National IGF was halted after its 3rd edition. The reasons were lack of open access to internet resources and an enabling environment where freedom of expression was respected.

Since the coming into office of the new government in January 2017, the Gambia re-joined the community of democratic nations where freedom of expression and civil liberties are fully respected. We therefore welcome everyone to join us to discuss key Internet policy issues that affect us in The New Gambia.
