As part of Internet Society’s 2020 / 2021 action plan to strengthen the Internet by extending encryption, ISOC Gambia chapter organizes a webinar / online workshop on Encryption with discussion on the role of CSIRTs in supporting, implementing, and promoting end-to-end encryption to ensure a secure and trustworthy Cyber space.
The Theme is “ENCRYPTION AND ROLE OF CSIRTs IN OUR NATIONAL ECONOMY & CYBER SPACE”
This is a call at the right time as Our Economy, Our Financial transactions, Our Health sector, Our politics, Our Media, and even our social lives increasingly becomes dependent on the Internet
This will be an interactive Webinar/workshop with Expert Trainers and speakers:
1. Mr. Robin Wilton: Internet Society’s Senior Advisor for Internet Trust – a specialist in online privacy and digital identity who will only speak on ENCRYPTION.
2. Mr. Marcus Adomey, Senior Trainer at AfricaCERT will take us through What CSIRTs are, The CSIRT Ecosystem in Africa and the world, and then, the role CSIRTs play in promoting ENCRYPTION as the Theme above goes.
